Meet Ali
I have over 15 years of experience in mental health practice. I began my career working with children and families, where I witnessed firsthand how stress, trauma, and unmet needs can shape people's lives in quiet but powerful ways.
Over time, my work led me to recognize that my greatest passion is supporting adults who are navigating life, relationships, and internal struggles, often while carrying far more than most people can see or name.
At the center of my approach is a commitment to creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and never "too much." Therapy with me is meant to be a place of steadiness, not pressure, where you are met with care and respect for your lived experience.
I am married and a parent to a young daughter. Being part of a family has deepened my understanding of how relationships, identity, and responsibility shift over time, and these experiences shape how I approach therapy with patience, perspective, and compassion.
How I work
My Approach
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Everything we do together is guided by your needs, your pace, and your goals.
Healing isn't linear. There will be hard days and breakthrough moments, and I'm here for all of it. I believe in meeting you where you are, not where you think you should be.
As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I'm committed to creating a space that is inclusive and welcoming for all identities and experiences.
What Therapy Looks Like
Our first session is all about getting to know you. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, your history, and your goals. From there, we'll work together to create a plan that feels right for you.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and held weekly. We'll check in regularly to make sure our work together continues to serve you well.
"You don't have to have it all figured out to start therapy. You just have to be willing to show up."
"The most courageous thing you can do is ask for help. And the most powerful thing I can offer is a space where that help feels safe."
